The role: We are seeking a passionate and skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to lead impactful case management for complex clients in both community health and inpatient settings.
You will provide individualized, case-managed care aimed at maximizing health outcomes within a multidisciplinary framework.
In this role, you will utilize advanced clinical skills to assess, plan, organize, evaluate, and deliver high-quality nursing care tailored to each patient's needs.
You will collaborate with HNE Drug and Alcohol Clinical Services to support primary treating teams for patients with substance use issues, while also providing a Drug and Alcohol Consultation Liaison service to emergency departments, inpatient wards, and outpatient clinics.
Your contributions will help shape specialty clinical practices and service delivery, and you will have the opportunity to deliver in-service training to enhance clinical staff's understanding and competence in managing substance dependence.

Strong communication skills and a valid driver's license are essential for this role.

Harm Minimisation is a key tenet of the model of care.
