The staff strive to meet the individual needs of learners by providing educational support for children and students while supporting schools to provide accessible learning environments, curriculum and school communities. Educational support is available across the public school and non-government system, from birth to Year 12. SSEN: S is part of a network of specialist schools which operate under the Statewide Services pillar of Service Delivery.The RoleThe Administrative Assistant will be responsible for coordinating incoming and outgoing correspondence, telephone calls and visitor and parent enquiries, as well as arranging meetings, distributing meeting agendas and taking meeting minutes. Administrative Assistants will also assist with travel arrangements and bookings, preparation of the budget and payment of accounts, assisting with recruitment processes, payroll and HRMIS entries, creating and maintaining student files and information and providing administrative support to the Sensory Leadership Team.Ideally, the successful applicant will be well organised with the ability to show initiative and are able to multitask, switching from one task to another when required to meet tight deadlines. They should be confident in supporting a leadership team, with previous experience in general administrative duties, processing accounts, monitoring expenditure and communicating with a wide range of stakeholders.
