Position: Restaurant Manager Required Salary: $74,000 plus Super Pok Pok Jnr, a busy Thai food restaurant located at 9/555 Bourke Street, Melbourne, Vic 3000, is looking for a restaurant manager to work with us on full time basis.The successful candidate must demonstrate the following: Good knowledge of range of Thai dishes like Thai salads and starters, Bangkok Street Noodle, Pad Thai, "Pad Kee Mao" spicy drunken noodles, various Thai curries like Massaman Lamb Curry, various kinds of Roti's etc is required.We seek an applicant who:Has a strong passion for providing excellent customer service and showcasing their managerial skills and knowledge.Possesses excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate individuals and teams.Has ability to ensure FOH staff work effectively to ensure the delivery of exceptional front of house.customer serviceHas experience in managing the FOH team.Displays efficient ordering and stock control skills.Excellent skills about induction and training of new and junior staffCan do timely and effective day reporting to higher management.Must have least 2 years of full-time in a managerial role in busy café/restaurantMust be an Australian citizen or Australian PRYour tasks and duties in the FOH will be:Planning menus in consultation with Chefs Planning and organising special functions.Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions Ensuring FOH staff work effectively to ensure the delivery of exceptional front of house.customer serviceLeading and managing the FOH team daily and maintaining payroll benchmarks.Ordering and stock control as per set par levelsEnd of day reporting to higher managementEnsuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance.Conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service.Selecting, training and supervising waiting and kitchen staff Taking reservations, greet guests, and assist in taking orders.You must hold AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Hospitality.You must have been employed for at least 2 years on a full-time basis and at a skill required for the occupation of cafe and/or restaurant manager, as described above.Part-time work can be considered on a prorate basis.This position will be subject to probationary period up to 3 months.
