Senior Employee Relations Specialist Opportunity Reporting to the Group Employee Relations Manager, the Senior ER Specialist provides expert HR and ER advice and case management support for complex matters.
This includes advising on employment terms, grievances, disciplinary processes, investigations, performance and absence management, and interpreting industrial instruments.
Key Responsibilities: Manage ER cases, including disciplinary actions, performance management, terminations, and redundancies.
Provide structured and pragmatic HR/ER advice, both written and verbal.
Conduct workplace investigations and general HR/ER case management.
Mentor and support ER Advisors, reviewing work as needed.
Ensure compliance with Awards, Agreements, and National Employment Standards.
Provide HR policy/process advice and assist with drafting.
Skills & Experience Required: Degree in Law, HR, or equivalent experience (4+ years in an HR/ER role).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in workplace investigations and ER case management.
Knowledge of disciplinary processes, Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and the Fair Work Act 2009 (C'th).
Familiarity with HR, Payroll, and Talent systems.
Desirable: Experience in a unionised environment or employer association.
