More About the Role at Stockland **The Opportunity - About the Role** We have an exciting opportunity for a driven and Results-Oriented Senior Analyst to join the dynamic Mergers & Acquisitions team at Stockland's Sydney head office. In this newly created role, you will lead financial modelling of capital partnership returns, prepare reporting packs, and engage with partners and key internal stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Portfolio Analysis**: Undertake portfolio analysis, valuation, and modelling of prospective mergers, acquisitions, capital partnerships, and divestments, collaborating with team members and consultants. - **Presentation Preparation**: Assist in preparing presentations, pitch books, marketing collateral, investment recommendations, and board papers. - **Project Management**: Provide project management support for transactions, maintain key documents, collaborate with working groups, follow up on action items, and manage risks and issues. - **Due Diligence Coordination**: Assist in coordinating due diligence with internal teams and external advisors, including preparation and management of data rooms. - **Market Research**: Research and interpret data to identify market trends and opportunities. Gather intelligence on the investment landscape and provide feedback and insights to inform new investment and partnership opportunities. - **Tax and Structuring**: Develop an understanding of tax and structuring considerations for new investment opportunities. - **Internal Collaboration**: Ensure effective working relationships are established and maintained with internal teams, including the broader Group Investments division, Development, and Investment Management divisions. - **External Engagement**: Engage with external advisors to build and maintain strong working relationships and drive positive business outcomes. **About You** We seek a proactive individual with advanced analytical, modelling, and numerical skills, strong Excel skills, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities. You should have a university degree in capital markets or corporate finance with a strong quantitative component. Experience in finance, investment management, or real estate is desirable.
