Your key responsibilities will be:
1. Creating and maintaining server-based scripts required for pre-processing and pre-ingest of digital assets prior to ingest to the digital preservation system including relevant documentation is maintained.
2. Investigating, rectifying, and/or referring reported technical issues within the digital preservation system ingest environment,
3. Participating in the Digital Preservation team to provide technical support utilising State Library procedures based on international standards and good practice. This includes supporting the planning, configuration, review and documentation of the digital preservation environment. Addition activities include maintaining task chains, storage configuration and format migrations to ensure long term availability and, access.
4. Contributing to a positive and safe work environment by modelling conduct that is culturally capable, inclusive, respectful, and ethical.
