A great opportunity for a Trades Assistant to join our fully geared Defence Maintenance Contract team based at Ross Island, Townsville .
The Trade Assistant will be required to support the marine maintenance operations, with a diverse range of tasks associated with the services and repairs to the Defence Assets .

About the Role
Helping trades personnel with all types of work in the workshop Assisting in maintenance and storeroom tasks Maintaining the work area in a neat and orderly manner Operating plant and equipment where qualified and licenced to do so
About You
Hold a current Driver's License (C class, manual, open) Have a great attitude, a good work ethic and complete tasks with minimal supervision Additional experience would also be highly desirable; Following tickets would be highly advantageous: - Confined Space
- Working at Heights
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP) up to 11m
- High Risk Work License (HRWL) with competencies in Forklift
Computer Literacy using Microsoft office products (especially Excel) You must be an Australian Citizen and able to maintain a Defence Security Clearance
