About the role Located at our office in Wagga Wagga, the purpose of this role is to lead monthly planning that delivers the maximum value for the region and GrainCorp in a sustainable way. Key tasks of this role include:
Lead a group of planning teams organised around the regional demand centres to deliver monthly grains plans.
Collaborate on the monthly plan to ensure maximum GrainCorp outload.
Develop a team of planners as a profession, providing the feedback, tools and culture needed to build GrainCorp capabilities.
Monitor the gap to annual plan, resolve any monthly exceptions and escalate strategic annual exceptions to the annual planning team.
Provide input into planning tools and recommendations for continuous improvement and ensure data informed decisions are made through utilization of tools.
Decide and perform intake, outload, customer engagement, freight and network planning.
Agree on maintenance and mobile equipment schedule.
Recommend labour allocation based on operational requirements.
