Service:
Whyalla Hospital
Whyalla Hospital and Health Services is a large regional hospital comprising of 75 beds including flex beds and a designated High Dependency Unit. The hospital provides a wide range of services, including emergency, medical and surgical, maternity, rehabilitation, mental health, and outpatients.

About the Role:
Under the guidance of a Physiotherapist, the Physiotherapist (AHP1) plays a key role in delivering a comprehensive and integrated range of health services tailored to meet the unique needs of the local community. Working collaboratively as part of a multi-professional team alongside diverse health professionals and service providers, the Physiotherapist AHP1 utilizes a well-rounded approach that combines prevention, early intervention, treatment, therapy, and evaluation.
The Regional Physiotherapist (AHP2), with increased clinical experience and specialized knowledge, takes on a more autonomous role. They are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating a broad spectrum of services that address the community’s needs.

About You:
* Must hold a recognised qualification within the Physiotherapist profession and be eligible for full membership of the Australian Physiotherapy Professional Association.
AHP1 Responsibilities:
* Provide a broad range of clinical services using established methods, procedures, and standards.
* Exercise professional judgment with guidance from a Clinical Senior.
* Manage and prioritize personal workload effectively.
AHP2 Responsibilities:
* Apply expertise and clinical skills to provide services in complex situations.
* Manage workload and support team resource allocation.
Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category A (direct contact with blood or body substances).
