With a widespread presence across Australia, the company is known for its innovative solutions and commitment to sustainability.DescriptionProduct Manager Mission:Shape Product Strategy: Own the regional product roadmap and drive strategic planning tailored to each unique market.Market Insight & Analysis: Conduct market surveys and competitor benchmarking to understand local dynamics, customer needs, and partnership opportunities.Customer-Focused Innovation: Work closely with utilities and distribution partners to adapt, localize, and enhance smart metering and telecommunications solutions.Lifecycle Management: Oversee the lifecycle of existing and new products, ensuring commercial and technical alignment.Internal & External Influence: Build relationships with procurement teams, internal stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to influence decision-making and close deals.ProfileWhat You Bring:Industry Experience: Background in metering, utilities, or related product vendors (e.g. EDMI, Itron, Secure Meters, Genus).Commercial Acumen: Strong business instincts, ideally from a private enterprise. Able to develop business cases and support pricing/contract strategy.Technical Savvy: You've worked with or serviced technical products, especially those involving telecomms, electrical or software-based systems.Regulatory Awareness: Comfortable navigating industry regulations, sustainability requirements, and government-driven projects.Soft Skills: Tenacious, proactive, entrepreneurial.
