They have recently moved their head office operations to Melbourne and are hence on the look out for a candidate to head up their payroll function (this is a standalone role). Our client is also looking to go out to tender for a new payroll system. Hence, the successful candidate will be heavily involved in the tender process and subsequent system implementation. This will be invaluable experience for a Senior Payroll Officer looking to take the next step in their career. The role will pay up to $120,000 super. Job Description Reporting to the Head of HR, your role will include: Process end-to-end payroll for circa. 300 employees across Australia & New Zealand Perform quality control audits to ensure accuracy Manage the set-up of new employee information and accounts and oversee the maintenance of employee data systems, including maintenance of Payroll records and files Providing guidance on any updates to awards and policies and legislation Attending education sessions on payroll legislation updates Interpret new legislation impacting Payroll Oversee system implementation across Australia and New Zealand The Successful Applicant We are seeking experienced payroll candidates with strong end-to-end experience and a passion for compliance / continuous improvement.
