Beaumont&Beaumont is pleased to present an opportunity for a number of APS5 equivalent Quality Assurance Officers (Decision Management Team) to join a major Commonwealth Government Department. The Quality Assurance Team Leaders are responsible for administration work and ensuring that the decisions and reviews made by the IDMs are correctly drafted and reflect the legislation, rules, and policy of the Scheme. The duties include the following: Conduct detailed research and analysis;Keep accurate and comprehensive records (including report writing, case notes, and official records);Provide quality control and quality assurance on applications for redress and check the work quality of others (IDMs);Communicate confidently through written and verbal communication and present messages in a clear, concise and articulate way;Apply legislation, policies, procedures and records management requirements;Apply high-level research and analytical skills to make accurate conclusions based on available information and legislation;Apply relevant redactions to documents against the Policy Guidelines. Our ideal candidate is someone who: Maintains a strong attention to detail. Maintains a well-developed understanding of relevant legislation and policy frameworks. Demonstrates empathy and understanding and communicates effectively in a trauma-informed way. Applies legislation, policies, procedures and information management requirements. Staff within the Group may have direct or indirect contact with sensitive material when dealing with applications or liaising over the phone. Experience in handling confronting information would be an asset.
