PSL6 Communications Manager Permanent opportunity | Canberra Location | $97,645 - $110,817 per annum plus 15.4% superannuation | Baseline Clearance Desired OVERVIEW Our Federal Government client is currently seeking an experienced Communications Manager to join their team.Within this role you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and publishing content to enhance awareness of the activities of the department through a range of digital media platforms.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Manage the department's social media presence, including developing channel strategies and high-quality content to engage target audiences.Manage and provide expert advice on external and internal communications for the department.Prepare high quality outreach and educational products for social media, multimedia, and web purposes.Analyse digital media campaigns and produce analytics reports to determine the effectiveness of outreach and engagement activities.Provide internal communications support for the Digital Business Solutions team to enable the transition to new systems and technologies within the department.Assist with the development, implementation, and evaluation of communication strategies for stakeholders within the department.EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS Relevant tertiary qualifications desirable.Ability to acquire a good working knowledge of parliamentary practices and procedures.Understanding of contemporary media and digital publishing environments.Demonstrated high-level writing skills including writing/editing copy, in plain English for a range of audiences, as well as highly developed communication, liaison and organisational skills.Demonstrated experience and success in implementing communications and engagement programs and providing advice and support to a broad range of stakeholders.Well-developed analytics skills and the ability to analyse, report and evaluate success of communication and engagement activities.Demonstrated ability to work flexibly, independently and within a team environment, to plan and prioritise workflow to meet deadlines and deliver high quality outcomes.IMPORTANT TO NOTE SOS Recruitment is committed to the principles of workplace diversity and equity in employment and we encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, people with disabilities, women, people with family responsibilities, people with diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds, religious beliefs and LGBTIQ people.This is a security assessed position.Applicants must be an Australian citizen, with successful candidate holding a Baseline Australian Government security clearance or having the ability to obtain and undergo other employment suitability checks.#J-18808-Ljbffr
