Cost Optimization Specialist
This position plays a critical role in ensuring the efficiency of our aircraft and ground support equipment maintenance operations.
Job Description:
The Cost Optimization Specialist reports directly to the General Manager, Engineering. The primary focus is on monitoring and controlling costs associated with aircraft and GSE (Ground Support Equipment) maintenance.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with engineering teams to identify areas for cost reduction without compromising safety or performance.
* Develop and implement strategies to minimize unnecessary expenses and optimize resource allocation.
* Provide regular financial updates and insights to the General Manager, Engineering, to inform key business decisions.
* Work closely with suppliers and vendors to negotiate favorable rates and contracts.
* Analyze and interpret data to make informed decisions and drive cost savings initiatives.
