We have an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Finance Manager to join our Team. This position is responsible for providing full financial and accounting support for the Accor Group. Development of policies and procedures to ensure a sound internal control environment at property.
Getting to know the role and your responsibilities:
Work with and maintain constructive relationships with property GMs and their teams in the operation of all Peppers Retreats.
Ongoing assistance to Property GMs in respect of operational matters that have a financial perspective.
Development of financial procedures and analysis to support property initiatives.
Establishment and management of appropriate accounting controls and procedure to maintain the integrity and manage business risks. Ensures compliance with standard and local operating procedures.
Oversee and finalize accurate and timely preparation of property financial reports. Review with Management Accounting Team and GMs.
Ensures that P&Ls are accurate (i.e., costs are properly matched to revenue, costs are recorded in the proper accounts) and statements are delivered to appropriate individuals in a timely manner.
Review General Ledger reconciliations prepared by Management Accounting Team.
Advises the GM Finance and Regional Financial Controllers on existing and evolving operating/financial issues.
Regular contact and attendance at meetings with owners/owners representatives.
To be successful in this role you will need:
Minimum 2 years management accounting experience - Hospitality industry highly regarded
Degree qualified essential, working towards a CA or CPA qualification advantageous
Strata title experience desirable
Time management skills, ability to set goals and priorities tasks for self and team
Strong leadership and influencing skills
Attention to detail, accuracy and problem solving skills essential
Excellent written and oral communication skills
