What's On Offer $80,000 – $88,000 + super Permanent, full-time position Variety in your day with a mix of executive support and governance functions An opportunity to grow your local government experience in a fast-paced, people facing role Supportive, down-to-earth workplace culture About You We're looking for someone with: Outstanding organisation and multitasking skills The ability to handle confidential information with integrity Strong interpersonal skills—you'll know how to be approachable while also maintaining professional boundaries Initiative and ownership of your own learning—you're curious, resourceful, and not afraid to ask questions Previous experience in Local Council (highly desirable) The role This role goes beyond standard EA duties.
You will assist with managing diaries, correspondence, travel, and meeting logistics, you'll also work closely with the Governance and Risk team to support Council meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and maintain governance registers.
You'll interact regularly with Councillors and internal stakeholders, balancing confidentiality, professionalism, and people skills every step of the way.
