About the role
We are looking for a Delivery Manager on a 2-year fixed term contract basis. This role will be involved in the Modern ERP program of work and responsible for the Delivery Management of Physical Assets workstream. The Delivery Manager is responsible for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of projects within scope, time, and budget constraints.
The role requires leading cross-functional teams, coordinating resources, and managing stakeholder expectations to deliver high-quality results that align with business objectives. The Project Manager will ensure that all project activities are executed in line with industry best practices and organizational standards while managing risks and resolving any issues that may arise.

Project Management:
12. Plan, manage and direct large-scale, complex projects based on a defined need and to achieve project objectives.
13. Planning the scope and baseline for the project, including defining the project plan, charter and project schedule.
14. Define and track project milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan.
15. Apply management knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to a broad range of tasks to deliver the desired result for a particular project in a timely manner.
16. Execute the project schedule to ensure that the project team completes each activity according to plan.
17. Accountable for the delivery and success of the project and the acceptance of the product by the customer
Risk & Quality:
18. Ensure all projects adhere to end to end project methodology compliance standards. Identify project dependencies and assess and resolve all project risks as they are encountered.
19. Monitor and control the work to ensure that the project remains on track and in control. Evaluate trade-offs between project size and complexity, cost, urgency, risk and stakeholder value.
20. Accountable for accurate and timely data quality in the relevant information systems
Stakeholder Management:
21. Partner with business sponsors to define success metrics and criteria and continually update relevant business stakeholder of project status and periodically publish project status reports
Team Leadership:
22. Build, lead, and coach project teams throughout project lifecycles to drive a successful outcome of the project. Execute formal reviews and management reviews

23. Project Management qualification – PMI, PRINCE2, Diploma/Certificate in PM, or equivalent.
24. Demonstrates advanced application of competencies in highly complex, dynamic and challenging situations and contexts.
25. Must demonstrate deep knowledge and experience in these competencies and be recognised as having specialist expertise in all areas.
26. Experience managing large digital transformational programs or project. Experience in SAP4HANA implementations for multi-national corporations is desirable.
27. Detailed knowledge of the project management methodology, tools and templates (includes project planning, schedule development, change control and cost management processes) and the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
28. Delivering the project: Planning from concept to closure and implementing the project from shaping to handover using appropriate strategies, systems, processes, tools and resources.
29. Sound leadership and people skills: communications, stakeholder management, team building.
30. Organised, yet flexible, person with a strong focus on structure ( clear roles and responsibilities), controls and processes.
31. Proficient in waterfall methodology and scaled agile framework.
32. Proficient in Microsoft Project; Azure DevOps and Microsoft Planner.
