Managing and developing new and existing business opportunities whilst helping develop the Compass Brand and the products we offer. This will be done through building long-term sustainable relationships with new and existing business partners and managing the day-to-day performance of the team within the different sales and logistic channels. You will have overall responsibility for all the WA sales and logistics team and their performance. Key Responsibilities: Client and Partner Engagement:

Establishing a regular program of visits to key clients with your team to enhance the strong working relationships and provide maximum ROI.
Sales and Business Development:
Responsibility for the sales strategy for the state of WA, working with the Director Sales and Marketing and the COO.
Day to Day Responsibility of the main sales channels, the revenues for these channels and the staff that operate within these channels.
Work with the sales team to establish leads, growing opportunities, developing, and closing further business.
Analysis of sales numbers, exploring areas of weakness, analysing trends and exploiting growth areas through the analysis along with forecasting monthly, quarterly, and yearly performance and future growth.
Manage Logistics and the depot’s that facilitate the execution of the Compass service ensuring efficient execution and use of resources to deliver on our Partner and Client’s needs
Help drive revenue through successful leadership, action plans, customer service, and outstanding execution of all operation strategies, consistently across allocated locations.
Manage the State P&L ensuring maximisation of profitability.
Work collaboratively with other departments within the organisation to develop in-depth relationships, ensuring all teams are aligned to provide maximum client and partner satisfaction.
Logistics and Operations Management
Manage the preparation, delivery, collection and maintenance of the company's fleet of motor vehicles, as well as the management of Branch staff.
Drive efficiencies by ensuring strategic and innovative planning techniques are adopted and rolled out.
Understand location needs by managing logistics staff and using your own skills to assess departmental results, to create specific actions that ensure optimal delivery related to current bookings and further development and growth, consistently across all allocated locations.
Ensure that all staff greet, engage, demonstrate, inspire, and manage the customer flow towards an outstanding customer experience.
Training and Education: Providing guidance, training, and support to your team to maximise retention and revenue Team Collaboration and Contribution:
Actively contribute ideas and demonstrate initiative-taking business acumen to support the growth and success of the team and organization.
Participate as a team member, attend team meetings, and contribute effectively to initiatives aimed at increasing business volumes.
What you'll need to succeed
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in senior sales &/or logistic management.
A valid non restricted Australian Drivers License
Show an ability and results to effectively manage a team across a broad spectrum of business. Be able to demonstrate a track record of success in sales through capturing, maintaining and developing accounts.
Knowledge of sales and business development principles as you will often be the first port of call for your team when trying to develop business opportunities.
Proven record of being able to convert ‘possible’ into ‘definite’
Excellent project/time management skills, including ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
You will be able to produce high quality written communications and training to relevant areas
You will be capable of producing, analysing, and utilising management information for regular reporting and supporting business decision making.
Experience of the automotive industry and or Insurance industry preferable
