About the Role:
The company is currently seeking an experienced Tender and Grants Writer to play a critical role in securing funding for key projects and initiatives. This position is responsible for preparing high-quality tenders, grants, and proposal submissions to support the company’s strategic goals.
Reporting to the Head of Programs, the role involves managing the full tender and grants submission process, conducting research, and writing compelling proposals that clearly communicate the company’s strengths and capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and coordinate tender and grant submissions to ensure timely and high-standard delivery.
2. Write clear and persuasive narratives that highlight the company’s capabilities.
3. Research and identify funding opportunities aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.
4. Analyse regulatory documents to extract relevant information for submissions.
5. Collaborate with internal and external experts to gather insights and ensure compliance with submission requirements.
6. Implement best practices and quality control for all submissions.
7. Build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
8. Prepare reports and presentations for executive leadership and the board.
Selection Criteria:
9. Relevant qualifications in business, communications, or a related discipline.
10. Proven experience in writing successful funding applications, tenders, and proposals, ideally within the not-for-profit (NFP) sector.
11. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality written content.
12. Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather and interpret information from a range of sources.
13. Proven project coordination skills and experience.
14. High-level computer literacy.
Desirable:
15. Experience in the aged care sector.
