We’re looking for a Business Development Manager who’s more than just a sales pro. We need a strategic thinker who understands the ins and outs of building and construction, can make sharp commercial decisions, solve problems, and represent the business with the utmost professionalism working with a range of clients within the education, oil & gas, and industrial sectors building and maintaining relationships living the project lifecycle from inception to completion.

Day to Day:
* Tracking jobs from warm databases, proactively sourcing new leads, projects, and business across NSW and Regional areas
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients, and people within the industry and monitoring sites that would create leads and sales opportunities
* Being involved in the sales process including contracts, negotiating, tendering, site requirements, and specifications to best suit
* Working out and problem-solving what the client needs, coming up with the layouts, pricing, and working with the other departments within the business collaborating across projects
* Reporting and forecasting on targets and leads in sales meetings with local and other branches across Australia
What we are looking for:
* An analytical thinker, who enjoys problem solving and solution selling.
* A professional communicatorwho can build trust and influence.
* The ability to identify and target key customers by understanding their needs/requirements
* Strong time management and organisational skills working across multiple projects
* Someone who is professional and can make smart commercial decisions, evaluating project profitability, or negotiating contracts, to ensure the best outcomes for both the client and the company.
