Description
Santa Maria College is a leading Catholic girls' school, founded by the Sisters of Mercy with 1,280 students in Years 5 - 12 including 150 boarders.
We are seeking to appoint a Humanities and Religious Education Teacher. The successful applicant will be an engaging teacher who will inspire our students.
This role involves teaching middle years and while experience is preferred, graduates are encouraged to apply. Applicants with a combination of, or a strength in either Religious Education or Humanities will be considered.
Applicants with experience have the possibility of taking on more senior classes.
This role is a one year full-time fixed term position commencing in Semester 1, 2025.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:
1. Knowledge of and commitment to the ethos and values of Catholic and Mercy education
2. A passion and ability to teach Humanities and Religious Education
3. Capacity for innovative, engaging teaching and learning
4. Ability to foster positive relationships with students, staff and parents
5. Highly developed ICT skills
6. Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Appropriate teacher qualifications
2. Eligibility for teacher registration in Western Australia
3. Working With Children Check
