About the Company:
Skilltech is a leading utilities company dedicated to providing reliable water services to the community.
Spinifex is assisting Skilltech to source motivated and reliable Water Meter Readers to join the team on a casual/on call basis.
About the Job:
You will be responsible for accurately reading water meters within the Parkes region.
Your role will ensure that all customer accounts are billed correctly, and that data is recorded in a timely manner.
You will also assist in identifying any maintenance or repair needs for meters and report findings to the relevant team.
This position is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and wants to contribute to the efficient management of local water resources and work flexible hours.
* Accurately read water meters and record data
* Report discrepancies or issues with water meters
* Maintain accurate records of meter readings
* Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with residents
* Ensure compliance with safety protocols and guidelines
* Assist with additional tasks as required by the team
Skills & Experience:
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written
* Comfortable working outdoors and walking long distances up to 10-15km per day
* A current driver's license desirable but not essential
