Looking after a territory from Gosford heading South to Orange, this role will see you managing comprehensive Programmed Maintenance and Reactive Service solutions to large commercial food, beverage and industrial equipment customers.
They provide food & beverage equipment installation, warranty servicing, programmed maintenance and reactive services for bakery, butchery, delicatessens, clubs, cafes, restaurants and more.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven experience managing a team in a field-based service industry role.
You will be a hands-on people manger with an energy and drive to foster staff engagement, accountability and client relationships.
Currently a team of 16 technicians, this role has the scope to increase to over 30 technicians, increased responsibilities can provide you with an opportunity for future advancement.
Key responsibilities in this role will see you:
•Manage all aspects of the facility & service department on a daily basis.
•Optimise the efficiency of the service technicians, service co-ordinators & supervisors and subcontractors.
•Improve the skills base of the service department, including service technicians, service co-ordinators & supervisors.
•Respond to and deal with customer communication to the customer and businesses expectation.
•Ensure that spare parts are dispatched from the main spare parts warehouse in a timely manner for technicians.
•Provide guidance and support to the service coordinators/supervisors on continuously improving the department, including people management.
•Review reporting staff's performance regularly; conduct formal performance reviews.
