About the Role
We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Telstra's Launceston store on a full-time basis. This is an opportunity to enhance your leadership skills and oversee a retail team with a unique buzz and energy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the induction of new team members and coach the team to meet and exceed store targets.
* Support the team with customer query escalations and act as the right-hand person to the Store Manager.
* Execute business initiatives in store to meet financial and customer key metrics.
* Organise the store floor and team's work schedules to meet customer demand.
Requirements:
* Prior experience in a retail leadership or assistant management role.
* Able to energise and drive a retail team to exceed sales targets and KPIs with demonstrated success.
* Able to lead from the front, influence and build rapport with a diverse team.
* Excellent communication skills to support the Store Manager in taking team members through change.
