It will redefine how people play, stay and socialise in the river city.About the RoleAs our Revenue Analyst, reporting into our General Manager of Hotels, you will provide proactive support to the Hotel Operations and Hotel Sales team by assisting with reporting, pricing analysis and recommendations and inventory management to maximise revenue yielded from the portfolio of Brisbane-based hotels.You will ensure the most profitable pricing strategies are utilised and embedded into the Property Management System and all distribution channels. You’ll collaborate with peers in Marketing and Reservations to seek customer insights and compile data reports for management to use when evaluating hotel revenue and advertising spend.This position is based at the newly opened The Star Brisbane located within the Queen’s Wharf precinct.Key Responsibilities:Support the creation and implementation of pricing strategies and contracted rates in line with Marketing and Sales initiatives.Analyse performance data and generate insightful reports.Assist Hotel Division to effectively execute revenue management strategies on an ongoing basis to drive market share within the competitive set and optimize RevPAR.Actively contribute to the set up and ongoing usage of the new Revenue Management System to track performance.Collaborate with Hotel Sales team to ensure rates quoted in group or corporate proposals are in line with overall revenue optimisation strategy.Collaborate with the Reservations team to ensure reservations are well managed and assist with development of short and long-term topline revenue forecasts.Develop a solid understanding of and provide support and practical maintenance of all distribution channels including company website, guest services, and all third-party room booking outlets.Periodically audit and maintain property management system to ensure only relevant rate strategies are active.About you:You are an experienced Revenue or Pricing Analyst with hotel-industry experience. Alternatively, you have worked in Hotel Reservations and a large portion of your role has focused on maximising revenue by setting the right price.
