Position Objective
The Project Manager reports to the Operations Manager and assists with all aspects of overseeing all projects, assisting with Business Development, Estimating, Vendor Relations and Employee Development.
Workplace Duties
* Manage all financial aspects of projects through ongoing job forecasting from start through to completion.
* Cost to completes’, progress claims & EOM major works WIP spreadsheet & ABM reporting.
* Understand and execute sub-contracts.
* Understand plans & specifications.
* Labour forecasting.
* Set clear goals and expectations to site foreman/ staff.
* Negotiate with supplies during procurement.
* Negotiate and resolve all customer concerns/ requirements.
* Design and execute a comprehensive project commissioning plan.
* Complete and compile all project handover documentation.
* Occasionally review tenders.
* Fully understand the contract for the projects
* Pricing, estimating variations in Espro
* Relationships with Key suppliers when required for each project.
* Handing the project over to our Service and PM during DLP
* Ensure that reasonable care is taken in relation to personal health and safety.
* Ensure compliance with all policies, regulations, and legislation in relation to area of responsibility.
* Operate with minimal supervision.
* Maintain professionalism at all times
Qualifications and Experience
* Current Drivers Licence
* 10 years in construction related field
* 5 Years in a Project Management role
* PMP or Prince2 Preferred
* Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Business Management
