The Role: The role of the Digital Systems Coordinator will work closely with the IT Manager to maintain high quality school systems, integrate systems and support the end users. This role will ensure that all current and future digital systems are working efficiently, including internal and external systems in collaboration with vendors. This role has an important responsibility in gathering, analysing and understanding internal requirements and contributing to the development of relevant business documentation and improved processes, and participating in assigned projects from the IT Manager, who will provide strategic oversight. This role requires a strong focus on providing an outstanding ICT service, to ensure that they meet the needs of all key stakeholders of the school. Requirements of the Role: Evidence of Australian Working Rights is essential. A current approved Blue Card (Working with Children Check) is essential. Qualifications: Bachelor of Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar; or Minimum of 3-5 years professional experience in software development, or related field. Business analyst and/or project management skills and experience are highly regarded. Experience, Skills and Personal Attributes: Demonstrated ability to lead and/or manage IT projects in a well organised and structured manner, and ensure deliverables are provided in a timely manner. Ability to clearly define and remain within the scope of assigned projects and guard against scope creep. Proficiency in web frontend and backend development languages and frameworks including .NET core, C#, HTML5, CSS, VueJS and relevant scripting. Experience with other backend languages will be considered. Ability to operate effectively within Linux environments. Creating and managing system integrations (highly regarded). Strong practical knowledge and experience in the use of application programming interfaces (APIs). Sound understanding of deployment management and technologies such as Docker. Provide and support business intelligence reporting. Experience with version control and code management tools such as git, Visual Studio or similar. Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and provide code updates and demonstrations to present tool features and receive user feedback. Strong ability to explain technical solutions in understandable terms, to key stakeholders of the school. Demonstrated ability to ensure professional and quality service delivery. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn new skills promptly. Demonstrated aptitude to adapt to and understand modern technologies and support staff, students and families. Experience with administering Microsoft tools such as Exchange, Teams, SharePoint is highly regarded. Personal Attributes: A focus to serve with a spirit of excellence.
