About Your Opportunity As the Control Systems Engineer, you will provide maintenance services within the regional team in relation to Seqwater control systems. You will provide technical oversight and advice to Control Systems contractors and other resources. Working in partnership with the DTI teams and other regional teams you will develop and implement effective maintenance practices across your assigned region. Key responsibilities: Provide technical advice and maintenance services for process control, SCADA, automation, communications networks and telemetry systems to support and resolve technical issues for the regional team in relation to the operation and maintenance of Seqwater control systems. Working with other parts of the business such as DTI and Asset Maintenance, contribute to the effective planning, scheduling and coordination of project delivery, preventative maintenance, non-routine maintenance activities, and refurbishment programs across the operations and supply systems. Liaise with Process Engineers, DTI, Operators and contractors, community and other maintenance personnel, to ensure the safe and efficient plant operation in accordance with agreed procedures in assigned region. Oversee and liaise with contractor personnel/visitors/new employees on site such that sufficient and accurate information is exchanged ensuring all work is conducted in a safe manner. Respond to unplanned/responsive maintenance issues, incidents, or emergency issues and can fully diagnose the nature and scope of potential plant faults/issues and identify the resource requirements for rectification. About you To be successful in this role, you will possess: Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Electrical, Electronic or similar appropriate engineering qualification with a minimum of 5 years' experience managing control systems maintenance Current unrestricted “C” class drivers licence Current active RPEQ registration in a discipline relevant to the position (desirable), or working towards RPEQ registration This position has a salary range of $128,257 - $140,504 (dependent on experience) plus 12.75% superannuation. Appointment to this role is subject to the provision of a national police check and may be subject to other medical/character requirements.
