To help us further refine how best to care for our Aged Care Residents, an excellent opportunity is available for an outstanding individual to join us as Facility Manager of our new 150 bed residential aged care facility in Cheltenham.
This role will be appointed on a full-time, ongoing (permanent) basis.
About the role Reporting to the Director of Clinical Operations - Residential Care, if appointed, you will have prime responsibility for the overall management and operation of the purpose-built Aged Care Centre.
You will be expected to ensure that the highest standards of care are consistently achieved and you will be accountable for achieving outcomes across both the Clinical Governance and the Corporate Governance domains.
As a member of the Aged Care Services leadership group, you will be a key role model for the philosophy and core values of Monash Health and we'll look to you to deliver outstanding and effective leadership, coordination, relationship building and management of your team.
About You You are an experienced Aged Care Registered Nurse and Manager, passionate about providing the best possible care to this vulnerable group in our community.
Moreover, you gain significant satisfaction from seeing the positive impact of your team's efforts on the residents in their care.

The new facility As the newest facility in the growing Monash Health network, this state-of-the-art aged care centre is in the final stages of completion and is scheduled for commissioning in mid-2025.
Its modern infrastructure will enable a broad service offering including: Personalised care plans for residents, to ensure their specific health and wellness needs are met Medical and nursing support available 24/7, with skilled staff available to manage a range of healthcare conditions Recreational activities and social programs designed to promote mental and physical wellbeing Specialised rooms, therapy areas, and community spaces for residents and their families Technological integration such as monitoring systems, telehealth options, and digital communication tools, all designed to enhance care What you need: Current AHPRA registration, essential A significant track record of success in Aged Care leadership at senior management level, essential Intimate knowledge of day to day operations in a Residential Aged Care Facility Experience in astutely managing relationships with residents, their families and key stakeholders Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Aged Care Standards and their practical application Commitment to a workplace that fosters a culture of growth and continuous improvement In return you'll enjoy: a collaborative working environment with highly regarded senior leadership substantial clinical support through our Mental Health in-reach teams significant opportunities to further extend your leadership skills the ability to showcase your passion for supporting older members of our community This is a rare opportunity to drive significant change for the better.
