They are seeking an experienced Fleet and Asset Manager to optimise their vehicle and equipment fleet management processes.
The role is critical in ensuring operational excellence and compliance across the business.
Role Summary As the Group Fleet and Asset Manager, you will lead the management of a diverse fleet of heavy to light vehicles and mobile plant.
This role will see you coordinating maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving improvements in fleet utilisation.
You will work closely with workshop managers and other key stakeholders to ensure assets are managed efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities Lead fleet and asset management across multiple sites to ensure compliance and optimal utilisation.Oversee vehicle registrations, fleet insurance, and servicing in collaboration with internal teams and external providers.Implement and manage asset management systems, supporting data analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.Develop preventative maintenance strategies and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.Provide technical advice on fleet and equipment to operational managers.Manage asset lifecycle, including procurement, rebuilds, and disposals.Key Selection Criteria: Proven experience in fleet and asset management, ideally within a similar industry.Strong understanding of NHVL, CoR, and WHS regulations.Experience with ERP systems (Pronto preferred).Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.Full Australian driver's licence and the ability to travel between sites as needed.Qualifications and Experience Senior leadership experience and qualities preferably within the heavy vehicle industry.Strong commercial and financial acumen.Trade qualification in a heavy diesel or related mechanical field.Previous experience in fleet and asset management.Experience in implementing and managing fleet and asset systems using ERP's.If you are passionate about driving operational excellence through effective fleet and asset management and possess the necessary skills and qualifications, we invite you to apply now.
