The Role
To safely and successfully deliver daily maintenance requirements plans / KPI's in accordance with company's values, legislation and HSEQ procedures.
In addition, the Maintenance Fitter will lead maintenance execution in line with health, safety and quality programs relating to the maintenance functionality that are performed on site.
Competencies Required:
Volvo Equipment Experience – nominally rigid trucks SAP experience preferred Basic computer proficiency Heavy Rigid vehicle license (advantageous) Queensland police clearance (SSAN) What you'll bring

Commitment to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive and high-performance culture Workshop experience with heavy mobile fleet maintenance within a mining environment Demonstrated experience with European prime movers (Volvo advantageous) Mechanical trade certification (Dual trade automotive and auto electrical advantageous) Auto electrical experience backed with strong diagnostic aptitude Experience in hydraulic and pneumatic circuitry and control systems Ability to plan, manage and control material, contractor and employee resources CMMS experience SAP advantageous Ability to obtain Queensland security clearance (SSAN) Hold HR licensing (advantageous) Excellent interpersonal skills including the capability to lead and work in a team environment Resourceful, self-motivated and efficient Excellent problem solving / troubleshooting skills, and ability to prioritise duties Strong focus and leadership on all facets of Health, Safety and Environment If you are excited about the role and think you have what it takes but your experience doesn't align 100%, we still want to hear from you.

This site services 40 MPUs across nine mine sites in the Bowen Basin, playing a crucial role in safe and efficient blasting operations.
Our modern workshop is fully equipped with hoists and OEM tooling, so our team has everything they need—no personal tools required.
The location is centrally based to the mine sites we service, ensuring efficiency and support for our operations.
