South West Community College (SWCC) - formerly Bunbury Regional Community College - is both a new school and a new kind of school. Our purpose-built Busselton Campus in Albert Street opened earlier this year. All students referred to the College experience barriers to education including diagnosed and undiagnosed mental health challenges, and other disabilities – social-emotional, sensory, intellectual, learning, and physical. Teaching is adjusted and support services provided, to meet individual student needs. A collaborative case management model is a key component of the College operations. Teachers and other professional staff work together to find the most appropriate learning pathway for every student. We have: Small class sizes. A fulltime teacher and a fulltime education assistant in each class. Significant social and youth worker support.
