We offer a vibrant dining experience with stunning views and a menu featuring juicy slow cooked Ribs and Briskits along with premium quality steaks and seasonal specialties. Our bar features top-quality wines, craft beers, and creative cocktails, providing a laid-back atmosphere perfect for casual lunches or evening outings. We are looking for a permanent full-time Chef to join our team. Competitive compensation based on experience and skill level. RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure that all kitchen staff uphold professionalism and strictly follow occupational health and safety regulations. Prepare and serve meals in accordance with hygiene standards, ensuring timely delivery to customers. Demonstrate and teach various cooking methods and techniques, providing guidance on procedures. Oversee stock inventory, order high-quality raw materials, and manage supply levels effectively. Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain a high-performing team. Ensure food is stored properly in temperature-controlled environments and regulate the temperatures of ovens, grills, and other cooking equipment. Prepare and cook dishes using diverse cooking methods as outlined in the menu. Plan menus, estimate food and labor costs, and manage orders for food supplies. Monitor the quality of dishes throughout preparation and presentation, and develop new seasonal menu items. Address food preparation issues with managers and staff. ATTRIBUTES: Minimum of 2 years trade qualification is required as a Chef. Minimum 1 year experience in a relevant discipline is required.
