Our core products include transportation management, logistics sourcing, freight forwarding, supply chain consulting, tax management, and customs compliance.What does an On-Site Logistics Coordinator Specialist do?The Logistics Coordinator Specialist role includes day-to-day operational responsibilities in a team environment, with client-facing customer service and collaboration. Responsible for managing global shipments requested by the client and their vendors/suppliers, via air, sea or ground, having an immediate impact on business fulfillment, client relations, and the achievement of long-term departmental goals and objectives.Work Schedule: 38 hours, 8 AM-4 PM, Monday-Friday (some weekend / after-hours support may be required)Compensation: $75,000-$80,000 Annual AUDPhysical Demands: Sitting, typing, standing, walkingDrug-Free Workplace and Equal Opportunity EmployerCandidates must be Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents of Australia and furnish a Valid National Police Check upon hire.Ideal candidates will have the following:Bachelor's or equivalent college degree – Logistics Focus preferredInternational logistics experience +5 years is a must; transportation, customs, warehousing, supply chain principles, geographical concerns, political nuances of economic zonesMicrosoft Word, Excel, OutlookAbility to multitaskWritten and verbal communication skillsResponsibilities:Manage logistic shipments working with both client and team members.Complete day-to-day operations.Provide coordination of the daily shipping workflow under the client's management/guidance.Support for internal team members or external customers/suppliers.Facilitate prompt issue resolution when needed.Ensure client satisfaction.Exhibit Allyn core values.Assist in development and implementation of productivity and efficiency initiatives that will benefit both the team (Allyn) and the client.Participation in client offered training in support of each functional competency.Provide excellent customer service to Allyn clients.Our clients range from small local businesses to Fortune 500 firms in industry sectors such as power generation and renewable energy, road construction equipment, electronics, industrial materials, heavy-duty trucks, mining and drilling equipment, oil and gas, modular building, medical equipment, not for profit, and US government.
