Exciting Opportunity: Short-Term Facilities Manager Role Available!Your new companyWe are seeking a skilled Facilities Manager for a short-term contract to support our dynamic live environment setting. This is a unique opportunity to make an immediate impact, utilising your expertise to ensure the seamless operation of our facilities during a vibrant, fast-paced period.Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, providing a consistent 5-day workweek.Hours: 7:30 - 16:00.Compensation: Starting at $80ph + Superannuation.6-month assignment, with possibility of extension thereafter.Your new roleThe Facilities Manager will manage governance and ensure compliance with all building & infrastructure and plant & equipment operations (i.e. VMIA audits, planned maintenance (PM) schedules, incident response to facilities' service disruptions, electrical, hydraulic and buildings safety, etc). The Facilities Manager is the Department Manager for the trade staff servicing the facilities, plant and equipment across the portfolio. As such, this role is accountable for the performance, compliance, and any escalations for the Facilities Team and their outputs. As asset custodian for the portfolio, the FM is accountable to input into Capital Projects on the portfolio sites, overseeing project activities such that they do not impede with the health service operations. The Facilities Manager is the recipient of the asset handover process, and is accountable to uphold the requirements, standards and workflows of the Asset Management System for your facilities portfolio.Plan, manage and oversee facilities maintenance and asset management activities for all the buildings' infrastructure plant & equipment systems across the Portfolio.Oversee day-to-day facilities management in an active, live setting.Lead and manage a team of direct reports to deliver operational excellence.Coordinate maintenance, safety, and efficiency with a proactive approach.What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in obtaining this opportunity, you'll hold an extensive understanding and experience across Facilities' Management settings and live environments.
