Manager, Compliance Strategy, Framework and Execution See yourself in our team The Compliance function consists of teams aligned to each business and support unit, as well as central teams, driving better compliance, regulatory and customer outcomes across the CommBank Group. You will be joining the high-performing Line 2 Business Banking (BB) Compliance team at an exciting time, supporting CommBank’s ambitious BB growth agenda. In a newly established team seen as crucial business partner for BB and the wider Compliance function, you’ll report to the BB Compliance Executive Manager - Strategy, Framework and Execution and provide Line 2 Compliance advice and support, working across BB and closely with the broader BB Compliance, Central Compliance and Line 1 Risk teams. Do work that matters The BB Compliance, Strategy, Framework and Execution team ensures effective monitoring and execution of Line 1 and Line 2 Compliance Frameworks. Focused on continuous improvement, they manage the BB Compliance Strategy from design to delivery and provide compliance and regulatory advisory support on obligations applicable across Business Banking profiles and managed within the Chief Controls Office. Key responsibilities include: Conducting compliance monitoring and assurance activities over Line 1 and Line 2. Providing regulatory compliance advice to the BB Chief Controls Office regarding compliance obligations, compliance risks and compliance policy requirements. Developing and continuously improving procedures, tools and practices for effective execution of BB Compliance activities and accountabilities. Implementing and embedding framework, policy and regulatory changes across BB. Supporting the Executive Manager - Strategy, Framework and Execution by monitoring and reporting on the progress of the BB Compliance Strategy. Provide reports and analytics on incidents, issues, obligations and other compliance data to identify problems, opportunities, or trends, offering insights to BB and BB Compliance management for better handling of compliance exposure. Manage internal stakeholders to educate, coach, support and promote a wider understanding of compliance risk management, policy and processes by providing awareness training and relevant communications. Contributing to simplification and improvement initiatives within BB Compliance. What successful candidates will look like? Ability to influence stakeholders, generate buy-in and drive improvement. Ability to prioritise, schedule and meet challenging deadlines with autonomy and self-sufficiency, whilst working collaboratively in a team.
