The Opportunity
The Multimedia Specialist enables and supports the best practice production of audio, video and digital assets to enhance online learning. This involves the development of concepts for multimedia production, scripting, recording and editing, as well as the development and maintenance of associated multimedia templates for use by the Learning Design team.
In addition to producing and editing, this role provides high-level advice and support to learning designers and academics on the pedagogical use of digital assets.
The role is for 0.8FTE (4 days per week) and is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract
About You
o 3 years + Experience in commercial, industry, or academic creative production environments
o Competencies in OES preferred products and technologies (including but not limited to the Adobe Creative Suite).
o Experience in media production and market readiness with an eLearning/academic focus.
o Demonstrated experience in innovative production methods and tools for online content delivery.
o Demonstrated high standard of interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment.
o An appropriate qualification in multimedia design and production (experience in educational environments and familiarity with learning management systems would be highly regarded).
o Confidence to confidence to, motivate and inspire the team to strengthen multimedia capability and communicate the standards expected of OES products.
