The role
As the Facilities Manager, you'll lead the College's Maintenance Plan, ensuring top-quality facilities, grounds, and security across all campuses. You'll manage budgets, tenders, and contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget, while ensuring compliance with all regulations and safety standards. With a focus on efficiency and team leadership, you'll maintain a safe, functional environment that supports the College's mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and implement the College's Maintenance Plan for facilities, grounds, and security. Manage budgets, tenders, and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery. Oversee compliance with WHS regulations, essential services, and risk management across all campuses. Supervise and lead the Grounds and Maintenance team to deliver high-quality services. Coordinate event and facility hire, liaising with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure security of property and facilities, including out-of-hours and on-call arrangements. The successful candidate will:
Hold a Diploma of Facilities Operations or equivalent qualifications/experience. Support and nurture the College's Catholic ethos and Ignatian charism. Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Have a collaborative approach with staff members, students, and parents. Be competent in technology. Possess, or be willing to obtain, HLTAID012 First Aid qualification. Possess, or be willing to obtain, a Working with Children Check (WWCC). Possess or be willing to obtain, Responding to Risk of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - education & Care (RRHAN–EC) training. Experience working in a similar school setting is desirable.
