Key duties and responsibilities: Develop, implement and communicate mine plans and schedules ensuring safety and production outcomes are met. Prepare weekly and end of month reports Liaise with the Project Manager, design team, operations, EPCM service providers & contractors to coordinate resources and communicate requirements Cost Estimation and cost control ‘In field’ verification of progress and quality control of the works Ensure integration of environmental factors into mine design and planning processes. Develop and implement environmental management strategies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Drive continuous improvement of rehabilitation earthworks to meet business objectives and rehabilitation completion criteria Monitor environmental performance, including air quality, water management, and land rehabilitation. Implement carbon reduction, energy efficiency, and waste minimization strategies. Required Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering: Civil or Mining Experienced Project Engineer with 5-7 years exp Ideally with design and execution experience within Mining Construction or Mining Operations Rehabilitation experience would be highly valued Strong communication skills.
