While the eSafety Commissioner is functionally separate from the ACMA, the ACMA provides corporate support services and staff to enable the eSafety Commissioner's functions to be fulfilled.
The ESafety Business Operations Branch provides corporate management and support to all areas of eSafety to supplement the services provided by the ACMA.
The Branch consists of three teams:
Human Resources Budgets and Finance Governance, Planning and Risk The Governance, Planning and Risk Team supports eSafety in meeting the corporate requirements of an Australian Public Service entity, particularly those related to the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 and the Commonwealth Risk Management Policy.

As a small agency, you may be required to wear more than one 'hat', so the ideal candidate will be flexible and willing to learn new skills when required.
You will have broad knowledge of Australian Public Service governance requirements, frameworks, and policies.
These may include the Commonwealth Property Management Framework, the Commonwealth Risk Management Policy, the Commonwealth Child Safe Framework, and the Protective Security Policy Framework.
You will drive change in a growing organisation and provide fit-for-purpose services that balance governance requirements with the efficient pursuit of the organisation's outcomes.
As the Assistant Manager – Governance and Risk, you will support eSafety staff in meeting our risk management responsibilities, identifying and assessing risk, and raising risk awareness.
You will report to the Manager, Governance, Planning and Risk, but you will need to be comfortable independently engaging with eSafety staff and external stakeholders.
