Senior Estimator We have been retained exclusively to represent a leading, national, multi-disciplinary construction company with extensive experience delivering major projects in both the private and government sectors. Having been established for over forty years, they hold a prominent position in the principal contracting arena delivering key infrastructure projects in both Commercial Building and Civil infrastructure disciplines. Growth is firmly on the agenda for our client and subsequently, they now require a highly competent Senior Estimator to complement their current team and play a key role in the pre-contracts discipline. To be successful in securing this opportunity, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following skill set and experience. Skill Set Required Maintain awareness of current and future tenders and market requirements in general, liaise with Tender / Bid Coordinator for inclusion of any new potential opportunities Prepare tender analysis and distribute for Go / No Go Take a lead role in the coordination, preparation and presentation of tender pricing in accordance with company procedures Review the proposed contract and any client issued project preliminaries for impact on scope and any potential for price coverage Review trade and general specifications for dissemination and identification of key scope inclusions and/or deficiencies Identify, communicate to the Bid Manager and Tender/Bid Coordinator and make provision for potential additional inefficiencies or costs associated with client, HSE, Quality, site or other conformance requirements Compile comprehensive RFT documentation for market distribution Develop detailed scopes of work per each trade package for compilation and inclusion in subcontractor / supplier RFT's Experience Required Must be able to demonstrate a minimum of 7 years in the construction or civil industry with senior level experience (Tier 1 or 2 Principal Contractor Exp ideal) Must be able to demonstrate established relationships with WA subcontractor market and possess a track record in the procurement of general construction and civil projects of up to $200M. Possess a recognised Degree or minimum of 7 years in the construction or civil industry with senior level experience!
