As a Payment Operations Officer at BOQ Group, you'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, efficient operational service and risk outcomes.
You'll work closely with internal and external stakeholders, customers, and industry partners to ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
Your key responsibilities will include managing payments, cards, and transaction management activities, always keeping the end customer front of mind.
In this role, you'll action every request, decision, task, and outcome with care, empathy, and confidence, building trust and acting with integrity towards our customers, partners, and brokers.
As you develop additional skills and graduate through our career pathways model, you'll handle more complex and varied tasks, cross-skill between brands and functions, and gather insights to make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Your effective execution in this role will contribute to providing exceptional customer and people experiences while supporting BOQ group during our change transformation.
About you You – the successful candidate is someone who has varied experience.
You are a fast learner, attention to detail, admin or data entry experience.
You have experience in a branch or customer service-based role, this would be a plus but not necessary.
Strong time management, organisational skills and positive communication is essential.
Ability to build rapport with diverse customers and stakeholders, and proficiency in relevant software and systems used in banking operations.
