This is a diverse role comprising Occupational Therapy specific assessments and interventions predominantly working with participants who are on the NDIS, aiming to increase the functional capacity and independence in all aspects of the participant’s lives.You will be part of a multi-disciplined, motivated and highly capable local team, and a national company with the support and opportunities to learn and progress professionally. We are looking for a self-motivated team player to build a career with us.Ideally, the role will be full-time - however, we would be open to part-time applicants.Responsibilities:Occupational Therapy specific assessments, intervention, and case managementAssessments and planning for NDIS participants to maximise their level of function, capacity, social engagement and housing suitability.Trial and implementation of equipment. Possible scoping and recommendations for home modifications.Recommendations and provision of ongoing therapy support for NDIS participants.Reporting outcomes and recommendations, written and verbal, in a timely manner and to a high standard.Promoting health and wellness solutions and support optimal mental and physical outcomes for clients referred to us.Liaising with clients, families, referrers, allied health professionals, and other stakeholders to achieve collaborative, person-centred outcomes.Skills, Attributes & Experience:AHPRA registration as an Occupational TherapistMinimum 2 years’ clinical experienceExperience working with participants accessing the NDIS is highly regardedHolds a full, unrestricted driver's license, and owns a car that can be used for accessing participants in their homes, workplaces and other environmentsWe welcome the opportunity to discuss this role in more detail with you.
