Resource Designer
About the Role:
The Curriculum Policy and Standards directorate, within the Curriculum and Learning Division, provides high-quality literacy, numeracy, English as an Additional Language or Dialect and Aboriginal Languages evidence-informed advice and resources for teachers and leaders that empower children and young people to learn and thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-level strategic design services to support the department's vision of a world-leading public education by creating literacy and numeracy content and materials for the Curriculum and Learning division.
* Uphold the department's style, goals, and objectives in resource creation.
* Provide expert advice, consultation, and innovation within the discipline(s) of design including graphic design, illustration, and animation.
* Collaborate with other team members, Curriculum and Learning division staff, and external stakeholders to achieve departmental goals.
Requirements:
* A relevant qualification in graphic design, multimedia, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
* Desirable skills: Illustration, animation, videography, photography.
* Must gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check prior to employment.
* Required to undertake RRHAN –EC Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course every three years.
Remuneration:
ASO5 $85,790 - $95,413 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (11.5%) and leave loading.
