Work Location: Fortescue's Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.

Fortescue is undertaking a significant project to standardize and modernize its HSEC processes by implementing a centralized platform. The company seeks an experienced Senior Business Analyst to participate in the planning, design, configuration, and rollout of this new HSEC global enterprise system.
This position offers a unique opportunity to drive digital transformation globally, requiring adaptability and a proactive approach to address challenges throughout the project lifecycle, working with stakeholders within the organisation. It is expected that after the program, this role will act as a delegate for the Product Owner of the system.
Individuals with experience in implementing enterprise-wide Environment, H&S, Communities &/or Risk Management processes and systems are invited to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Support the HSEC Digital Transformation Program team with business analysis deliverables / artefacts.
Develop current and future state process maps and other relevant documentation.
Gather, develop and manage technical and functional requirements using workshops.
Support testing of the vendor's product.
Participate in rollout planning and support activities, including hypercare.
Oversee epics, conduct backlog grooming sessions, and manage JIRA boards.
Record and escalate risks and issues as they arise.
Collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and vendors throughout the project.
Contribute to the governance framework and communications plan as needed.
Participate in program team's various activities, supporting other team members as required.
Qualifications and Experience
Significant experience as a business analyst in technology projects.
Recent experience in implementation of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) technology platforms, especially in mining, energy, or other large complex industries.
Proficiency with BPMN 2.0 and experience working with process mapping tools like Signavio or others.
Advanced knowledge of development and management of functional and technical requirements.
Strong knowledge of agile and waterfall project management methodologies.
Solid understanding of project lifecycle and methodologies.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration across geographies.
Experience working with 3rd parties and vendors.
Experience acting as a product owner.
DESIRABLE: Scrum Master experience is desirable.
