We are currently seeking multiple candidates to be Motor Assessors within their Motor Assessment team, who will be carrying out physical assessments of vehicles insured by our client to determine cause, coverage & repair of damages.
Your new role – full training provided!
Reporting to the Motor Assessing Team Leader, the Motor Assessor is responsible for the end-to-end management of allocated claims. You will establish the cause of damage as well as determining the scope and cost of repair to insured vehicles, whilst maintaining excellent customer service.
* Conduct assessments of insured vehicles using virtual assessing and/or causation reports provided by our panel suppliers
* Produce detailed reports - determine cause, coverage, damage and best repair methods
* Review scope of works - use your knowledge to provide expert reports to ensure the most cost effective and timely method of repairs
* Build and maintain relationships – internal and external stakeholders including local authorities and third-party repairers
* Negotiate - define the scope of work and associated costing with our repairers
What you’ll need to be successful
* Mechanical, panel Beating or spray-painting qualifications and/or working in a similar position is essential
* Computer/technology competence (skills testing may be required)
* Ability to thrive in fast paced high pressure environments and ambition to grow alongside the business
* Ability to prepare damage repair quotes and estimations (training provided)
* You will be required to complete background checks and proof of full working rights in Australia to be able to work in Insurance
