About the Role
The Natural Disaster Program (NDP) team manages recovery and reconstruction works following damage to the state road network caused by disaster events. As a Program Officer, you will provide support to program and project managers in the following areas:
* Proven experience in financial forecasting within systems environments
* Monitoring regional office projects for data quality and making changes where required
* An understanding of accrual accounting principles and creating/journaling accruals
* Scheduling projects using Primavera P6
* Collating and reporting on program/project performance and status
Responsibilities
You will proactively assist Project Managers with Unifier business processes such as:
* Program Change Requests
* Value of Work Completed/Monthly Accruals
* Cash Flow predictions

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must have:
* Experience working in similar roles in State Government environments, with additional experience in natural disaster programs highly attractive
* Experience using SAP and 3PCM Unifier forecasting desirable
* Proven experience in scheduling and project management skills using 3PCM Unifier
* Able to work innovatively and solve problems in complex environments
Additional Requirements
The successful candidate must be a current holder of a Class C driver's license and undergo a Criminal History Screening Check.
