Press Tab to Move to Skip to Content LinkSelect how often (in days) to receive an alert:Job Summary:We are currently seeking an Engineering Data Coordinator in Brisbane to work closely with our Clients on Mining and Metals projects.Reporting to the Project Information Manager, the primary responsibilities of the role are to work with the Project Management Team, Client IS&T team and JV IS&T leadership to plan, support and implement information systems and data exchanges to the agreed JV standards.In this role, you may be required to travel to other project offices within Australia to support the Engineering team.Major Responsibilities:Consults with project functional teams to define data interfaces between JV partners and project functions then implement and support those interfaces.Provides data in the format required by the Engineering team to load into Engineering systems.Collects and documents data exchange requirements for the project.Produces templates for vendors/subcontractors to provide data to the JV and helps ensure quality of data received by vendors/subcontractors.Understands the suite of project applications, data and document deliverables and works within a JV team to implement and support information systems, data integrations and reporting requirements of the project.Helps to develop the class library, master tag register and the tags to document relationships.Accepts and reviews data from third parties.Uploads and maintains data to the Project Asset Portal (digital asset).Reports on the quality and consistency of data (e.g.missing, incomplete or inconsistent data) used in the integrated design applications.Follows up/trains project personnel in the use of reports and correcting data quality or completeness issues.Reports to the Project Information Manager on information systems performance, data exchange and roadblocks.Education and Experience Requirements:Industry experience gained through a recognised degree in a STEM-related field, and/or specialised courses in Information Systems, Engineering or related fields, and/or extensive work experience in a STEM-related field.Required Knowledge and Skills:Strong blend of stakeholder management, analytical and technical skills.Strong ability to partner with project teams and Client to review and understand end-to-end work processes and IS&T planning to support study and project execution.Knowledge of data centric execution, BIM principles including intelligent 3D modelling, 4D scheduling and planning and 5D Cost controls.Knowledge of data models and class libraries and how they impact Engineering, Procurement, Construction work processes.Able to translate technical information into practical terms for discussion and presentation to broad audiences.Sound communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment are essential.Demonstrates a strong safety focus and values the development and maintenance of client relationships that clearly define expectations and responsibilities.Working Rights in Australia without employer sponsorship are required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
