The Role:
Are you looking for a change of pace from being inside the workshop all day?
In this role you would be working with heavy machinery and manufacturing operations to repair and replace hydraulic hosing, to ensure your client have little to no 'down-time'.
This role would ideally suit someone that has motor or machinery mechanic skills that wishes to work outside of the workshop. Working with customers from varied industries means that few days would be the same.
1. Conduct audits of machinery to ensure hydraulics are operating correctly and in a safe condition
2. Design and plumb up of new hydraulic systems
3. Using your problem-solving skills to pinpoint and resolve issues for customers as they arise
4. Follow an on-call roster and be paid to be on call
The Package
5. $32 - $40 per hour
6. Payment for being on-call and additional payment on top for being called out - along with overtime hourly rates
7. Company van and mobile phone provided
8. RTA training for the role provided
The Candidate:
9. Prior experience with hydraulics is advantageous, though non-essential
10. Mechanically minded with great problem-solving or fault-finding ability
11. Background with Motor Mechanics, Diesel Fitting, Fitting & Turning, or similar discipline
