About the Role (FT onsite Dandenong Sth HQ) As we continue to grow, we're looking for a highly driven and commercially minded National Head of Retail & Sales to lead with determination our retail sales strategy and ensure we meet our ambitious growth targets.
The successful individual will be responsible for overseeing the entire retail sales operation, across the country.
You will play a key role in the development and execution of sales strategies, managing key retail accounts, and driving brand growth in a competitive retail marketplace.
As a senior leader in the business, you will lead, inspire, and drive a high-performing retail team to ensure exceptional customer service and sales performance is met.
Key Responsibilities Develop and implement the national retail sales strategy to achieve set growth targets.Drive sales and profitability for the business.Take ownership and full accountability for the retail P&L.Manage and expand relationships with key retail partners, distributors, and stakeholders.Review and organise the national retail team structure for optimal performance.Lead and coach the retail team managers and staff to exceed sales targets and KPIs for all to reap the benefits.Work with key direct reports including the Merchandising Manager, Area Managers to oversee the merchandising and brand presentation in stores to ensure alignment with brand guidelines, quality, and visual standards.Analyse market trends and consumer feedback to adjust sales tactics and identify opportunities and to share the enhanced plans with Executive and other stakeholders.Monitor and report on inventory/stock, sales performance by providing regular updates to senior leadership executives.Foster a collaborative environment between the retail, sales, marketing, and product teams to drive success.Oversee the organisation of retail events, industry and/or product promotions, and activations to engage with customers.Accountable for coordinating effective marketing and promotions for retail stores, new product launches in collaboration with your team.Execute all competing work priorities diligently and efficiently demonstrating strong organisational and time management skills.About You You will be a capable retail sales leader with great drive, sales expertise, and a proven track record for attaining strong results in a similar environment.

You will be pivotal in expanding our presence in the equestrian, sportswear and related products arena.
Essential Skills, Qualifications, Attributes Proven experience in retail sales leadership, preferably in the fashion, sportswear, footwear or equestrian industry.Strong work ethic and commitment to succeed in the role, for the team, the Company, which requires accessibility and visibility onsite.Strong knowledge of retail operations and sales strategies at large scale.Confident and trusted leader who can communicate clearly with interpersonal skills to gain credibility with key stakeholders quickly.Ability to think and plan strategically while executing logistically on the ground.Understanding of the unique needs of the equestrian community is favorable.Strong financial acumen, analytical, systems and problem-solving skills.Work onsite F/T from the headquarters based in Dandenong South.Prepared to travel across the country as needed, and overseas occasionally.Background in managing multi-site retail operations and large workforce is essential.Sound technical/systems skills to manage various internal processes with ease.PR/Australian residency working rights.Valid driver's license and car.Why Join Us?
